Banana Bread Recipe (Yields 1 loaf)

Ingredients:

1 cup sugar
1/2 cup margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
3 mashed ripened bananas
2 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 cups flour

​Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350F.

Grease & flour loaf pan. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, cream together sugar and margarine.

Add vanilla and eggs. Beat well.

Into the bowl, add mashed bananas and milk and beat until incorporated.

Add the baking powder, baking soda, salt, and flour. Mix well.

Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.

Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.

Cool in pan for 10 minutes then remove and place onto a cooling rack to cool completely (unless you're like me and cut it while it's still hot).
